lightweight BCG

I ordered a JP LMOS a while back along with some other JP goodies. Everything but the LMOS arrived and it is on back order for another 5-9 weeks. I don't want that one part to hold up my whole gun build. What other options are there for lightweight BCGs? I know that Young MFG used to make one, but other than the JP I don't know of any AVAILABLE options. Any pointers or suggestions?

There are several places that have the low mass JP BCG in stock. You gotta use the smaller ones that come up on google. The big guys are sold out. JP himself will be at high plains this weekend. I can point him out. If they drive down in the shop van they may have one for you this weekend.

As for suitable alternative, there are none! The young isn't as light as the JP I'm told by the guys on Enos that buy more gadgets than me.

I ended up with both the Youngs and the JP for different guns, but haven't had a chance to try either yet. Jesse is correct though, the JP is a teeny bit lighter. The weight difference is very small, but is there.

Did u weigh them side-by-side? If so would you start a thread with those numbers for future reference? That is s perry frequent question when it comes to lightened carriers.
