Gun guys tend to be good at "figuring" things out. Anyone out there know much about wiring LED lights in sequence? This is the first step in a big project I'm working on so ifnyou can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

Actually no. I'm a science teacher and this is for a project in my class. A little too lengthy to post here though. PM if you need details.

You'll have a forward voltage drop for each LED. It will be 0.4V or higher per LED. This is piecemeal, so if you are using a prefabricated setup, it should be as simple as matching a power supply with enough voltage and current to run your design.

an arduino board makes things like this very easy to setup.

Hey Nate, we need to talk later. You need to hook up with the people over at OHM Space. It's like the okccoco, but for hackers and makers. Tons of robotics, electrical engineers, and fabricators there.
