So, in January I ordered a Sig Sauer 556 DMR. I wanted better accuracy/trigger etc... but I canceled that yesterday because it was looking like it was a year away. Now as soon as the money comes back into my account I want to order a CTR-02.

I want to start shooting in 3-Gun etc.

I have a Sig Sauer P226 X-Six (awesome gun) with four 19 round magazines. I will also want to buy a Benelli Pro Shop M2 3-Gun 12 gauge. And get the CTR-02. I'm a long way out in both time and money and probably won't get to shoot any this year. So I am trying to get ready now for timing.

Does the collective here have any kind of handle on production times? My guess is +/- five months.

Can't help you with production times, but dont let the lack of equipment stop you from attending matches. Most competitors are willing to let you share their equipment as long as you bring your own ammo.

I heard 9 Months at the earliest. I emailed them the first week of January just to make sure with no return email. But I got lucky and bought a used rifle. Good luck.

Check out the race package that accurate iron does on the Benelli. It will save you some serious coin and being right down I35 your gun smith is only 3 hours away.

I would look at buying the raffle rifle that was just won here on BS...it is a SWEET RIDE...for sale, and in stock :scout:

Jason the raffle rifle is SPF, I had to talk myself out of buying it. If I wouldn't of just dished out the cash for STI, it would have been mine. My bad side want the deal to fall through.

That's quick. Did they ship the entire gun or just the lower?
cfire,

I know they have a program to ship out the lowers (considered a firearm) as soon as half down or full payment is made. If you got your ENTIRE gun that quick I have hope now to get mine and be able to get used to it before trying to compete for the first time.

Could you please let us know

It was the entire complete rifle that will be shipping out. They called yesterday and I asked them how they got it finished so fast and they told me that they had so e cancelation so mi e got moved up in production and that they have been working long hours to get caught up

So then, there's hope yet.
