It's muzzleloader opening day

What did you see today?

I got out to the tripod about 45 minutes before legal light. Took a short nap, and watched a beautiful sunrise.
Caught movement across the milo field, and watched a great 10 point, wide and tall, work a scrape line. It looked like he was going to head my way, but turned and proceeded to tear up a sapling. Saw more movement and watched 7 does walk into the milo, walking away from the stand. Left early to go shoot the steel challenge.

Went this evening and had to wait in the truck for the hail/rain/lightning to go away. Didn't see anything moving.

Atleast you saw something. I was outa town and missed the first 2 day of the season. My tag is filled now but I wished it was on the first morning.
