I used to love changing 1911 grips every few weeks/months. Wood. Micarta. You name it, I tried it.

A few years ago I put a set of VZ Grips on my carry gun and have never looked back. They are VZ Operators.

The Aliens are bad ass too but you better not have those next to your bare skin.

I've got some original Simonich Gunner grips on my 1911, before they were sold to VZ & toned down

Oh, she bites. You just won't know about it for a couple months until you visit the clinic.
Worth the risk

What caliber is your Trojan? If 9mm, probably dumb question: Does it make weight?
.40S&W, and I have yet to weigh it. Prob will weigh both guns soon, see below.

I also got a Sig Traditional Match Elite this month, and put Kensight Sharkskin grips on it. They are badass, but standard thickness. I am in the mode of trying slimmer grips at the moment, due to Tanfo stuff.
