Quitter!!!!! :)
You dammed right I am! :D Averaging over 500 hours a year in overtime, and callouts in the middle of the night and on match days pays the bills, but sure gets into personal time.

Can we go to McDonald's after the Ponca match and use your senior discount??
You dammed skippy! I'll hook you up with some AARP discounts as well. There is always some nifty Velcro strapped tennis(shooting) shoes, and polyester shooting pants on the back page.
I'm surprised you guys keep paying all of this big money for that other stuff?

congratulations Dennis.

I'd go too... got the pensions lined up... just not old enough to draw them without a huge penalty. Have fun, brother.

I am. Second day in a row fishing. :D

Hey Dennis, I just read you're retired. Good on you. Now you can enjoy less time to do things with less money.

Taking early retirement from the Gov't added at least 10 years to my life expectancy. I hope your retirement thus far has been as good as mine has been.

Cheers,

Kevin

(I've been out of the shooting circuit for a while, the results of retirement, injuries, staying employed, and much travel)

Kevin, I don't know how I had time to have a job.

Your buds and spouse will kill your free time. Seriously.

Never tell anybody your retired. Do it, don't tell the wife, get up in the morning, put the duds on, and walk out of the house. Come home at normal times.

go to the range, fish, hunt, hit the local porno shops, but DO NOT TELL ANYBODY YOU RETIRED!

Actually, its a pretty cool gig. The above is absolutely true though. :D

Bad thing about retirement is you never get a day off. :)
I retired and decided to open a little gunshop 7 years ago. I have several retired guys who work for me when they aren't off shooting or fishing. If I knew it would be this much fun I would have done it years ago. Good luck and have fun.
