I am almost healed!

I tore my medial meniscus (knee) almost 3 months ago now. I've been resting it, trying to prevent having a surgery, and I am almost there. In fact, it hasn't bothered me for a couple of weeks now. I'm just about ready to jump back into competition shooting. It may not hold up and I may still have to go under the knife but I'm really ready to find out.

I had a diagnosis of the same torn Meniscus 25 years ago. I didn't do the surgery. It only bothers me going down stairs, not going up.

I don't know what the deal is, but its a small discomfort, and I'll live with it.

I did the same thing and ended up with cartilage deficit on the medial femoral condyle. I guess I walked on it flipped out too long. now I am looking at a Makoplasty or Oxford in a few years. When you need yours, look me up. You can't operate on yourself!
