Howdy from Tater Actual

I'm new to this forum. I've been in the firearms industry for more than 3 decades. Living in AZ since retirement, I'm an Independant Contractor and Firearms Instructor. I recently discovered that I'm a "FUDD" based on my newfound love for the 1911 pistol (I only own 3 total; I know, "rookie numbers"). I own a Kimber Custom TLE/RL II that was customized by Enloe Custom Firearms (formerly of ROBAR). An S&W 1911TA and a Colt Series 80 Enhanced Government model.

Educate me fellas!

Hi welcome from West Mi. Hope you enjoy our platform. If loving 1911's make you a Fudd, then I've been one for 71 years lol.

If being a fan of the 1911 platform makes me a Fudd, then I will wear that label proudly. I just need the T-shirt.

Hello Bob. I'm doing fine and I hope you are too.

I'm concerned about Mike though. He is in Western NC where the destruction from Helene is awful. I have messaged him on forums, his cellphone, and tried several times to call him. I haven't had a response. I know communication is difficult or impossible in his area right now, so hopefully he's OK. I know he was well prepared and he's a tough man. So I'm praying to hear from him soon. Please pray for him and his wife.

I surely shall. He is an amazing man. Glad you're doing better too. Stay safe, I keep hearing about the October surprise. Courious about the longshoreman possibly walking out on the Ist of October. That would be just great for everyone. I konw God has this handled, but He doesn't expect us to lean on our shovel and pray for a hole either. Exciting times we live in for sure.
