So i got a Nordic 18" barrel and rolling thunder comp. I put it on with a crush washer and it looks like crap. So now I have 2 problems. One is the crush washer is stuck on the barrel now.... It wiggles up and down but I can't get it past the threads without possibly damaging them... How can I safely get that thing off? My 2nd question is what is the proper way to get that comp lined up and secured without a crush washer?

Just unscrew the washer from the muzzle threads. To get it lined up without crush washers or peel washers you'll need to have someone turn the barrel on a lathe to so the comp lines up.

put the comp back on and tighten it to level. if you dont like how it looks then get someone to do it for you that has a mill or lathe

Mike just barreled an AR and set a comp for me, he does excellent work.
