help prove my wife wrong!

This is Benjamin's wife...Thank you all for siding with me and SAVING me from being a young widow. Yeah BoomerShooter.com! BTW Ben doesn't know I am typing this :)

why not just make your own ID now that you like us?

she hates guns so she has no reason to join, but i am sure she will cook extra cookies for the august 1st heartland match... and now when i jack one of her accounts and post something she better have no complaints..

Think about your FAMILY. What if you did have a bad ride? What would your Family do with out you?
Is it worth the risk? The loss they would suffer?
FAMILY comes first. You have to make the tough calls all the time. If it is them or me/ my family i pick me and my family everytime.
I am the only man in a family of 9 women since i lost my father. It has been very tough to get along without him. He and I always took care of our girls. Now i do it alone.
I know they would have a hard time without me. I must do everything i can to see that i am there for each one of them.

When you are trying to defend something like this or anything else with your wife - ask yourself if you'd be ok if your wife did the same thing. If you would absolutely without a doubt have no problem with her doing the same thing - then you have your answer.

It's a crying shame that we have to worry about this in the first place.. I've picked people up in the past, but I've been alone and usually armed. I can't say that I won't ever pick up another, but I won't with my fam in the car. I will say that you can't find a better group of good hearted people then the peoples of the OK firearms community.

Ben what's up with your wife dude " she hates guns ", everyone join me in trying to draw Ben's wife back from the darkside.

I've let a few folks ride in the truck bed for a few blocks... but I have never let a thumber ride inside.

Living in Florida made me wary of strange folks... hitchikers and others hanging around intersections were often the set- up men for carjackers, etc. I dont think car- jacking ever gained a lot of popularity in OK. Matter of fact... 15 years in South Florida jaded me to the point I feel the need to carry a legal weapon.

My Uncle was killed by Eileen Wournous. She killed 8 men all told... she was hitchiking or walking to set up most of them. Troy was the kind of guy who would stop at every flat tire or hood- up on the side of the road. He was rewarded by Wournous with several .22's in the back of the head... and a body so decomposed by the time we found it... a closed casket was required for his services. Troy sold wholesale meat. His truck was found miles away, empty of fuel and all his cash recipts were gone.

Picking up a stranger on the road is your call... but for me- 99% of what I see on the road side these days classifies as a "unknown contact".

When I was in college in Hawaii, while out checking the waves on a flat day I drove out to the KMCAS rifle range. I picked up a squad of Marines with their M-16s in my VW Thing. They were happy to save on the shoe leather.

I'd pick robusto up - even tho the thong he parades around town in never matches his highheels or bra
