Help Me Pick a Finish...

I'm thinking about getting my buddy to coat my next match piece...too many options to choose from. There are more, but these are my favs

I'm leaning toward the first pattern, but with shades of grey/black instead of earth tones...

thoughts?

Just my opinion but I have never been a pattern fan when finishing a weapon, good ole flat dark earth for me. Of the options posted I would say the first.

I wouldn't pick any, but then again I'm not really a big fan of skulls... I would go with a mix of flat black and nickel if it were me.

If I have any skulls, they'll be faint like the second one.
I like the camo pattern of the first with black/grey colors instead of earth.
Nickel is too purty for me, I'm gonna beat the crap out of this gun so it needs to show scars when I do

Nothing wrong with skulls. In fact, if Anderson painted some skulls on that wagon of his it would take the cool factor to 11.

I think he said he has some zombie thing in the works too with all the rage about zombies lately...I'd pick skulls before zombies

I just want it to stand out enough that you notice it's different and then you have to look at it to see the detail. My new gun just got here today, so I'll be getting something done pretty quick.

I think I'll tell him to scrap the skulls and put flaming dolla bills to be politically correct

You do know that a coolness of 11 is one higher than a coolness of 10 right?

I say wear the skulls with pride, maybe done in a slightly different color so you had to really look to notice what they were.

I'd do zombies ... I've always been a zombie fan and refuse to hate them just because they're popular now.

Of the four you posted, I think the first one would be the most useful in Oklahoma. I'm not a camo lover, so if I did get camo, it would be for functional reasons. And there would be no skulls or zombies in it either.
