So I have this 10 1/2' X 10 1/2' room that I want to turn into the ultimate gun/reloading room. I have some ideas as to how to make it work but I figured y'all might have some ideas as well. Let me know what you think. I can put a safe in the room or elsewhere. I wouddl like your ideas on security, how to mount stuff, where to place it, etc, etc. Anything you can think of to make this room badass, safe, and very user friendly would be helpful. Heck I even want to know what type of ventilation system to use and what type of dog to get to guard the place.

Here is a rough drawing of the space.

Honestly - I prefer my safe in a closet - I don't like people coming over KNOWING I have a gun safe - maybe its a tad paranoid but still I find a closet is the best place for a safe.

Wet bar in the 1st corner.
Cleaning table in 2nd corner.
Vertical mill in 3rd corner.
Reload in 4th corner.
Your corners are covered.

The right side is how mine is now. The left side are future plans. A few things I had to redo/improve is have more light and table space than I thought I needed. Can't have too much of either

You don't go in and out of your safe enough if having it in a closet is doable. I can barely force myself to walk to the other end of the house anymore to get to it. I just sling up when i get home now.

I can't read that picture its too small.

I really like that idea of 3 presses. 9mm, .40 S&W, and .223. How much space wouddl a guy need for 4 of them in a row. I need a .45/.308 press too.

no room to open the door on the safe
Safe door faces room door. May or may not work, depending on size of safe

4 presses...about 16'. Personally, I was going to have mine about 2' apart.

JT,
is this the only entrance to the house from the garage?

then you should remove one of the doors & make it a safe room

d: all of the above

Not possible and very expensive. We already have an underground shelter for storms. Keeping the room safe from thieves would be VERY expensive and what is ever truely safe? If someone wants my stuff bad enough the only thing that is going to stop them is a bullet. People will go to great length to steal stuff.
