Columbia police officers arrested a state representative Thursday for driving under the influence of alcohol and the unlawful carrying of a pistol after he was stopped for speeding.
S.C. Rep. Ted Vick, D-Chesterfield, was released from the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on personal recognizance bonds for the charges. He also was given a ticket for speeding.

Vick was B+ rated by the NRA. His democrat challenger in the primary was disqualified. The likely Repub is an NRA life member but has no voting record.

VIck must think he is above the laws he helps create. These laws do nothing but make the people of SC resemble subjects more and more. Politicians create laws, break them, and get a slap on the wrist for doing so.

All the people of SC do is sit in their houses and say, "Oh, we'll just try elect someone better next time", while only a few people actually try to do anything productive... but that never gets anywhere either.

While on the subject of H3665... "Old Jakie" Knotts is really screwing up H3665. He turned a bill that would repeal statutes into a bill that has 10 times the amount of words in it than the current statues.

"Old Jakie" is not a friend to liberty, he is a statist just like all the other South Carolina politicians. Republicans, democrats, independents... they're all enablers of control.

There's no government like no government.
