I am looking for a relatively inexpensive portable ground blind. For archery season I will be hunting on public lands so I have to be able to take the stand with me every trip to the field. Learned my lesson that I need one on Tuesday so if you guys have any suggestions or an old one you would sell me let me know. Thanks!

....or just go total redneck and use a window shade for about $10

This is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time, but it seems to be more expensive than it should be for what it is (cardboard)

I have one. If you set it up right, its almost invisible, but you still have to raise above it to make a shot.
It's not cardboard. It's a corrugated plastic that resembles it, but is waterproof.

The $70 pop up blinds at Walmart work great. Set up in two minutes, and take down in 5.

I'm just picturing a rutting buck seeing his reflection and charging.
If its properly set up, it leans forward so what the game see's is a reflection of the natural terrain right in front of it.

Saw one on cabela's website that is basically attached to a folding chair I am thinking about.
Are you rifle hunting only? No archery?
Hate to say it, but I have one of those too. They are a little bulky if you are forced to carry it a long ways. It does work well for rifle or pistol hunting though.

Archery hunting on public land here around Lawton. I rifle hunt in Southeast Oklahoma with my family and have a summit climber for that.

There is a youtube vid on how to make a ghost type blind with plexiglass and mirror film. Looks pretty easy.

I have one of the single chair models. Yes, I'm a hunting gear addict. Each one I buy though is designed for a different area, different hunting method.
