I just wanted to tell you guys about a training course I took and was extremely pleased with. This course was a mp5/ump primary with hk sidearms. The course was a Teufelshund Tactical training, the instructor was James Williamson. The training was both operator and Armorers. The range that hosted us was Frontline Defense. This was a very well thought out class, we as a group went from one drill to the next.
The pace of movement was very smooth. If you had question James had answer. He was not afraid to stop and do whatever it took to make sure that person understood why he was doing something this way or that way. The classroom Armorer side covered the beginning levels, simply adjusting sights, to checking bolt gap, changing extracter, and hammers. Total weapon breakdown, however did not get into triggers. Only so much time. Jame's presences in the classroom was fantastic, no mono tone, lecture, fairly interactive. Once out on Frontline's range, James brought us up from scratch, hitting the basics, and working our way up to two man drills,to speed accuracy competitions. His presences on the range was very relaxed, with complete control, RO commands clear and the same each and every time. To give a very safe feel to the group. Frontline Defense did a fantastic job hosting us as a group. Their was nothing we wanted that they did not give us. The whole crew, Paul, Dale, and Tommy were the type of guys that other range owners could learn a whole lot from. So if your ever in Warrenton N.C. Stop on by and try your hand on their 1000 yd range. Got an mp5, P7, P9 check out Teufelshund Tactical for repairs, cleaning, or training.
