So i found out about this at on of those other gun blogs (i'll never leave you forum!!! i just, you know, look, from time to time. I'll try to be better, really i will)

This explains a few problems I?ve been having lately. I thought it was a problem with my computer, which has been up and down so much in the last 2 weeks you'd almost think it was an elevator. Many thank to my fine, upstanding, beautiful, and techno savvy wife for keeping it running.

Anyways, on to the meat of the issue. It seems Google has decided to try its hand at social engineering, Michael Bloomberg style (for lack of a better way of putting it). They have begun censoring their search results (only for the shopping section currently. For the moment) if those results and or stores contain firearms or firearm related products. I have to wonder how a store like Cabalas will deal with this. But what I?m looking for right now is an alternate search engine.

I no longer wish to use Google, start page is powered by Google (as are most of the other engines I have looked at), Bing is owned by Microsoft (and of course so is I/E) (and I have so many issues with them it?s not funny) and almost everything else I have looked at is powered by one or the other.

Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternate search engine that isn?t a clone / front for those?
