was wondering if there are any good dvd's people would recommend, since they are so expensive i want to be sure before i buy anything. The first one i bought (which people were raving about on AR15.com) didn't really help (noveske 3gun dvd). I don't need a dvd to explain how to position your hands or even when moving forward you want to go heel to toe with a bend in your knees and your lower body absorbing the impact. With that being said i am not an expert and could learn a lot, just don't want to spend 60 dollars only to be told things i have already learned at classes i have had... thanks in advance...

I have only watched Youtube vids of his, but if I were going to buy anyone's DVD first on the list would be one from Saul Kirsch.

I really must echo Jesse's comment. Almost all DVD,s are basic, BUT on top of that there are only a very few I would say that are worth the money. Jerry's DVD,s are ok, but basic. Kyle Lamb's are great if you are fighting, Bennie Cooley's are some of the best in the business. Personally I would never try to learn from a DVD as what you "hear" may not be what they ment!

Total waste of $$$ is Burket's...and he is a friend! Most of the pistol based DVD,s are worthless. Save the money up that you would have spent....add it to the money you might have saved for other,s and take a class from the guy who you think can help you the most!

BTW the Noveske video is one of the very worst ione,s I have ever seen for teaching....for glitz it is cool, but there are sooooo many things wrong in that one I cringe!!!

i don't disagree, i was just trying to be PC!! agreed, i felt like i wasted my money..

I am completely at sea here with all the "cool guy" acronyms "SP DVD, a la NST" Remeber My amigo Chambers..."W.D.T.I.A."............

We Don't Talk In acronyms!!!! :sarcastichand:

My bad...

SP...Semi Pro
NST...Noveske Shooting Team
a la = French for...something

IOUAWIHBD....I only use acronyms when I have been drinking!

no one will pay to learn to ride a camel from a dvd tho

also i'm pretty sure the filming of a semi-pro dvd would look like this
