Since I'm changing pistol type next week, I'm going to sell my Dawson sights to my brother to use on his G34, and was planning on putting that gun's sights on my G17 before I sell it. But I noticed that the front sight on the G34 looks like it's pressed in, and being plastic that doesn't often lend itself to reuse. So, am I going to have to buy a new front sight?

Older Glock front sights were held on by conical wedge that "swelled" the front sight stem after it passed though the slide.
Newer units use a screw. Both can be reused but the screw unit will actually stay in place.
