I decided to upgrade the trigger on the last AR-15 I built. I used a mil spec LPK and the trigger group that came with it was horrible. I mean beyond horrible. It must have broke at 10-12 lbs and was the grittiest and worst rifle trigger I've ever felt. Words can't describe it. I'm surprised I wasn't dead last when I shot this rifle at the last 3 gun I shot in. I had been researching and finally decided on the Geissele SD-3G. I wanted a short, light pull and short reset for 3 gun. USPS dropped the package off from Brownells just a little while ago (yes, I clicked through the Brownells banner on Boomer Shooter when I placed the order!) and I had to install it immediately.

Wow! This trigger is amazing. The pull is exactly 3.5 lbs (I used the lighter hammer spring), very short and has a very short but tactile reset. If you're looking for a 3 gun trigger, consider the Geissele SD-3G.

I haven't built a dedicated 3 gun rifle yet, but this trigger will be moved to that rifle when I do. I just need a barrel, comp and stock to put one together.

Crappy video but it shows the function of the trigger.

That trigger comes in the Stag Arms model 3G.
I believe they come with the S3G, not the SD-3G. I could be wrong. I think the only difference is that the SD-3G has a flat trigger, though.

You are correct. I missed the D designator in your post.

I have the SD-3g in my gun and have been very happy. l measured the pull on my midway trigger scale I read 2.25 # for both triggers.
