FS/FT Rare set of RCBS dies for 45 ACP shot

I have for sale or trade a Rare set of RCBS dies for 45 ACP shot
part number 55000 they look un-used

I was told that these are to make 45acp shotshells from 308win cases
not sure if that's the case so I'm letting them go

asking $37 or trade for dies for .204 Ruger

the base of the 308,30-06, 270, 243 and the like are the same. you can trim to 45 length. i never thought of shotshell cases but if you want 45 cases the wall is too thick. i imagine it could be cut inside to the right size but id rather have my 308 cases. cool idea.

from what I was told one cut the rifle cases some what longer than a 45 case then sized ,primed the case put in powder, wad, shot, then used the final die to close the case over making a shot shell for the 45 auto

I'm sure someone can let us know exactly how these dies work

I was thinking the same thing, clear blue transparent cones were on factory loads I've seen in the past. These dies sound pretty rare and interesting, grab them while you can!

i have a shot pistol. i like my 308 cases for 308 AR-10.

while building my wall this summer we shot hornets with rat shot in a 22 H&R 9 shot revolver.

they would come to the base of some white oaks in the yard for the sap leaking out.
