Oh my! I just cannot watch MSNBC. Just saw Mark Kelly say that if the senate vote was by secret ballot, the gun bill would have passed 80-20. Don't these idiots get it? It's not a secret vote, they are not our rulers in Washington. They are SUPPOSED to do our will! Their votes represent our wishes! We the people spoke on the issue, not the NRA, or the Brady group, WE spoke. The system works, and I hope many more speak during the next election cycle!

Sorry for all that, I should have just changed channels. I think what really gets my goat is how some elements of our population believe or maybe even want Washington to be sovereign over us and not through us. It's sad that people elect government to rule them, and make decisions for them, without ever offering any input or oversight from the people or for the people.

Mark Kelly is a Hippocrates, with his attempt to buy an AR in a gun store, and getting shut down by the owner when he announced he was going to buy it and give it to leo to demonstrate how easy it was to buy.

Very good idea. More people are quick to send in complaints than thanks. If politicians get thanks for doing the right thing it may give them more incentive to keep doing it. But they are politicians for the most part, we can only hope. It's hard to teach an over 200 year old dog new tricks.
