Check out the pilot for Zombieland the tv series.
It's free on Amazon...

I just watched it. I wasn't that impressed. I think I'd like it more if I hadn't seen the movie. I enjoyed the movie and without the original cast it just feels like a knock off.

the onstar lady was a bit cheesy.

I got through about half of it.

It felt like it was a production of a high school or first or second year college group. The only way I could tell that it wasn't a fan movie and was a "legitimate" work was the backgrounds clearly required an actual budget.

At first I was excited but that quickly wore down into boredom and disappointment.

And zombies can't run.

Sorry it did not meet your expectations, I liked it for what it was.

The actors were able to act, I mean it's not like Chuck Norris was the lead.
I had no complaints regarding the sets and special effects.
I had doubts about the On Star lady but am willing to take a wait and see attitude.
I for one would like to see it make it to broadcast television.

Did you like the Stargate series?
It sometimes takes a while for actor changes to take hold.

Well, nobody ever said that Chuck Norris was Oscar material...

but some of the best stuff I have seen on screen or TV has had nobodys or lesser known actors.

Having said that, I haven't seen this yet, hopefully I can get the chance later on!

I watched the Stargate movie after I watched a good part of the series, so it's different for me in that regards. I might watch it again if they keep up the series. It was nice to sit down and be entertained watching zombies get killed. If they keep of the "kill of the week", those are always good.

I loved the movie Stargate and then was an avid watcher of the tv series(es). I got over my initial annoyance of the characters being the same but with different actors.

Everything just felt so contrived and forced.

I am looking at potential.
These actors are all capable but as a group don't seem to have melded.
As individuals they could use some work.
Lets look at Star Trek the Next Generation in the early shows.
Riker sucked, plain and simple, his character was way to too stiff and always seemed forced.
It took a while for him to find his groove with the character and for the group to meld.
Also this was a pilot, more than one show has had actor changes between the production of the pilot and the beginning of the series.
