Went to Florence today and was surprised to see good handgun prices for compact concealed carry guns, relative to the crap we've been seeing. Georgia Arms was there selling ammo for a reasonable mark-up and others were gouging. Bought some powder for normal prices 16.00 to 24.00 per pound. High cap mags of all makes for handguns and rifles were ridiculous. 75.00 for aftermarket mags and higher for factory in many cases.
Dependsa on what you are looking for as to whether it is worthwhile. We had a great day and came home and went shooting so my Nephew-in-law could decide what caliber and which type of firearm he wants for himself. His wife already settled on a Ruger SR9c. Steve, he loves the Kimber.
