Just passing the word on a great opportunity here in the Western Carolinas. I've been participating with this group for about 6 months now. I've had a great time, learned a lot and continue to learn and hone skills every time I show up. There is a vast array of experience and as a newbie I've never had a negative experience with the Operators and even the more experienced 3-gunners. People have always been willing to help and have been encouraging. No need to "gear up", bring a good pistol holster and some pockets for the first few times. You will see people with different kind of gear, it's best to observe and do some research before buying anything you may think you need. You can buddy-up with someone if you don't happen to have a rifle or shotgun and they will squad you two together. They are very accommodating.
