2000 hour bulb life, 5 MINUTE BATTERY LIFE?!?! Although the output is PHENOMENAL, that battery life is a deal breaker for me. My thoughts on flashlights: they need to be ready to be used at any moment, without fear of a dead battery, and they should be reasonably bright with at least an 8 hour run-time.

I agree with you about your room-clearing idea, though, as long as the altercation doesn't last longer than 5 minutes.
