Proper way to remove A2 flash hider? On my stag 3G I just used a wrench and the compensator came right off but this ones not wanting to come loose. I didn't put a lot of force with the wrench to avoid damaging it. Now what is the best option?
Thanks

Soak the hider in a penetrating oil over night. The farging ijit in the above photo applied too much torque and twisted the gas tube when the barrel extension came loose. Next thing you know, Mr Hacksaw came in and finished fouling elephant dung up.

Finally got the suppressor qd mount loose with the aid Ida pipe wrench and vice. It was ugly.

Heat gun never hurts either. The FH should expand a little before the barrel and might give you the little extra you need. Also helps if someone decided to red loctite the sumbitch on there.

It's got a pin! My buddy bought a 3G recently and the comp was pinned on look closely in the bottom of the comp you will probably see it.

No to clarify talking about two different ones. My stag 3G came off with ease. The one on my 3T won't budge.

I pulled the one off my 3G but it definitely wasn't easy. I was almost at the point where I just knew I would damage something and it came loose. Do many barrels 16" and longer have pinned muzzle devices? I've never had an A2 pinned in place
