I'm on several gun groups on Facebook. Most people just post things for ridiculous prices anyways. Like guys thinking a S&W Sport with a cheap red dot in it is worth $1600 because, that's what I paid for it. 3gun groups tend to post realistic prices, but not as many guns get posted there.

I got so sick and tired of the BS on FB that I canceled my subscription last year. A month later, it came back on its own. Canceled again, and it came back.

Third time, I posted some porn pics to my account, and FB mods deleted my account for me. Done deal.

They say they did this yesterday, and they are relying on people to flag sale posts. All the groups I was in before are still there, and people are still posting stuff. Reading the Facebook release, it seems more like fluff than an actual rules change. Sounds like they are just trying to get the anti groups to leave them alone.

What I dislike the most about this is the white house (lower case) using its' influence to push private enterprise into forwarding it's agenda. Especially when the private enterprise is actually a publicly traded company (NYSE:FB)

I wonder if Facebook is going to take down the group page for the band "GUN"
