Just to let you all know. I just picked up a DW Pointman7(45acp) at Riflegear.com. It's on the CA roster for those behind enemy lines like me. Uses a lot of Ed Brown parts. And not gouging. 2 left at the moment. Won't last long. Just FYI. Good luck Fanatics before the vultures come in.

i picked up the PM 45, and the Heritage 2 weeks ago at my LGS. lucky for me, (at least for the time being), we do not have CA rules.

both shoot incredibly.

Except for my first 1911 (Kimber) which I will always keep. I have replaced all my DWs, Colts, etc
The only ones I have now are all commander or CCO size. I have a couple from Wilson, Guncrafter, Nighthawk, Ed Brown and Les Baer and I plan to get an Alchemy custom carry.

I do have other pistols such as a Wilson EDC X9 which really isn't a 1911, I also have one Rock Island because no one else makes a 1911 in 22tcm and a Coonan which is 1911ish, because you know....357 magnum!! Everything else is for a purpose such as CZ Shadow 2, Sig P210 target things like that.

Don't know if I'll ever buy another DW or some of the others as I don't like the starship trooper look of a lot of the offerings these days.
