I willz...

This won't be a high dollar project but it should be fun. A 16" Green Mountain bull barrel is on a truck somewhere headed for OKC as are two of Ruger's 25 round magazines.

I love those stocks. I have one similar on my .17 HMR. It really adds a whole new sex appeal to rimfires.

looks like another low-budget build about to go horribly awry due to the influence of an online forum. Sorry Dutch

I always wanted to do one of those builds but I can't seem to find a BA stock that is for both leftys and right handers

Thanks Dennis! The true tragedy here is I can't remember the last time I shot it.

With subsonic ammo and the can it is nearly movie quiet too..

Changing triggers... Or leaving the factory in?

For the time being I'm keeping the factory trigger as my plan is to maybe use it for Steel Challenge as opposed to bench shooting (which I find boring). But it's all subject to change. :)

With subsonic ammo and the suppressor screwed on, this thing is quieter than movie quiet. And the best part is, it will put as many as you want at 50 yards into the same hole.

Those are pretty! What do you use them for? I want to go shoot prarie dogs and drink beer with them.

I use mine for anything. General plinking, informal contests with my buddies, hunting. Mine is a 16.5" Kidd lightweight barrel so the whole setup is super light. I think it would be pretty good for that tactical 22 challenge but you'd probably want an eotech or something on it. The scope I have is a 3-9x.

I'll be shooting a 3X9 on my 10-22 at the match. Red dot on the nordic.
I have an extra red dot, sitting on top of the safe. I'll do some sighting in this week, and if not happy with the 3X9, might swap out.

Those are sweet....

I have a Clark Custom 10/22 with stainless 16" barrel that I plan to shoot in the magnified division of the tactical .22 match coming up. It has a Kidd trigger that's really set up for benchrest (I can't remember but I think its somewhere between 8-12 oz.). I think I'm going to change the trigger out with the original for the match.

I just bought a Ruger SR22 that I plan to put a spare aimpoint on for the tactical unmagnified division. I haven't had time to accessorize it up too much yet so it will be pretty much stock.

I'll post some pics once I get optics mounted.

These 10/22s are a lot of fun... if set up right you can shoot into one hole out to 50 yds. We had targets with printed flies (to scale), mosquitos, etc... and you could consistently shoot these little bugs out to 50 yds. We would even set up wooden matches and if you hit them just right, you can light them with the bullet... maybe 20-30% of the time.

I look forward to seeing some of the setups at the .22 tactical match.
