What targets do you use to practice dry firing?

I'm practicing for the glock competitions so I made a mock plate rack. I made the circles small enough so that at 4 yds, they are the same as if you were really shooting 8" targets at 11 yds (I only have about 4yds I can get away from a wall)

I'm also going to make the other gssf stages to practice on.

I would cut the circles out and paint them a color, or at least give them an outline. That way you can widen them apart and vary spacing. The way you have it is not conducive to focusing on plates. Make them stand out so you can focus on them purely.
You are very right to do this, a GSSF match is all about transitions and not missing. Focus focus focus. I won two glocks the first GSSF match I went to. Good luck!

What he said. Now how do you win Glocks at GSSF matches?

Get first place. 2nd gets $100 and 3rd gets $75. There is 1 random drawing glock given away per match.

You can compete in 7 divisions per match (6 if you are master).

You can only win 3 as amateur and then you get put in master category. Also, there are criteria based on uspsa and stuff that make you master too.

EVERY competition has the same exact stages (or paper variations if there is no steel available).

Dang it I gotta read up on this. I love winning guns!

My m&p pro core 9 shoots way better than my g17 but I would love to shoot a glock match.. ( hope no one is shooting a 10 mm. I seen one kb last friday night )

I got some dryfire targets off an airsoft website. I think it is BAM Airsoft. Basically, I use a metric target that prints nicely on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper, tape it to a wall, and work away. They have a nice selection of targets anyone can down load for free.

Here is a pdf you can print a plate rack from. Make sure to check the "tile large pages" option with the cut lines box checked in adobe reader when you print.

You can cut out the circles if you want.

But the ANGLES and SIZES are the same as if it were an actual plate rack of 8" plates at 11 yds as long as you are 4yds from the paper plates.

I am going to try to make the other stages today. At 4yd, the glock'M stage requires a 103" on paper target and Five to Glock requires about 60"
