Who carries their rifles in the soft double gun cases and what brand? I'd like to fine a decent priced case around 40" long to carry AR and shotgun. Any recommendations?

Thanks to my wife and little "secret consulting" with 11B she bought an awesome double rifle bag for me for my recent birthday. It is everything I was hoping for and more. Fits my Daniel Defense AR and my Benelli/HK Shotgun easily and has more pockets and storage places than I know what to do with. I have seven 30 round PMAGS in it, spare parts kit, knife, cleaning kit, etc. etc. with space to spare. I guess I need more *stuff*...
It seems very well constructed and the zippers, velcro, pull down ties, padding, etc. all seem very sturdy. For what it is worth I'm pretty stoked with it and it was under $70.00. It also has the "backpack" carry straps which should come in handy when lugging stuff to the range.
Anyway, here is the link. As a side note: PLEASE don't flame my wife for buying this from CTD...she didn't know they are on the "no fly list"!

I got one at cabelas 6 mths ago. I carry my ar15 and 300 blackout upper in it.
Pro...it carries both and has some pockets. I added two more mag pouches.
Con....they touch one another when you carry it. I have one wrapped in a towel to deter the touching.
Easy fix for manufacturer...add or place a divider between the two.

For what its worth mine has a fairly thick 1/2 inch padded divider between the two rifles. Covers them both completely, the rifles cannot make contact anywhere with one another, and is almost the same size as the inside measurements of the case.

That ModGear looks ice but its a little too short. The AR is just a hair over 36" and the shotgun is about the same. I saw some on eBay by NCStar but who knows what quality you're getting there.

I bought the OPMOD double case. It has a somewhat time consuming but versatile divider and velcro straps to hold your rifles in place, using a sort of MOLLE type system on the interior. Holds an LR-308 24" and an AR just fine. It's a big case with backpack straps.

I think Boyd's makes one but I think it's significantly more expensive than the ones shown here.

I bought one from a member here. He postes ammo for sale from time to time.He came up with 4 bags last summer. They are Digital camo. They have a nice thick divider between where the long guns go. Also have velcro straps to keep everything in place.
Just looked my bag over. It is a Vodoo brand...If that helps.
It is a molle exterior and has big pockets on the outside. It has the sholder strap set-up, also. But, with 2 rifles and ammo and other junk, I wouldn't be carring it very far...
If I remember right, I gave about $90.00 for it. To me, it was well worth the price....

That is the same bag I have. I love it, also. I have had lots of people look at it and like it.

mines about 4yrs old, has some wear and tear, have some scorching from 308 muzzle blast when i used it as rifle rest.... lalala :roll:

Nice case. I'll keep it in mind while I shave off a little money from my reduced government paychecks to save for one. Best one I've seen so far. Today was my first short payday, only 8 hours this time but 16 hours less from now on, so I'll have my case by Christmas. :roll:
