Looking to find a good ankle holster, shoulder harness(since it is so cold down here :D ), and some type of waist holster...either inside waistband or outside but close to body.

HUH...i guess i asked for all the types..anyway, any input.

I usually use a Don Hume IWB holster. It fits both of my Kimbers and the Kahr and just works...

I use Galco sholder holster rig. I like the Galco because it is a whole system. I use the"Miami Vice" rig...You can change holsters and still keep the same harness. Right now I have it set up for double Kimber 1911's, but, can swap out one of the holsters to go to a single with a double mag pouch on the other side.
If I buy a different gun, just order the holster for that gun to fit the rig, and you have another whole set-up..

I've got a couple of drawers full of holsters and I wish I liked one of them enough to recommend it.
I guess for a plastic holster I like the Blackhawk Serpas.
For a leather I like a Galco Combat Master about as well as any of them.
I have not found THE holster or system but I keep trying :?

I'm sure you will get a bunch of responses to this.

I like a Comptac MTAC.

Used to have a CrossBreed SuperTuck and it was great as well.

Also have a speed scabbard from an unknown maker in Jackson, SC that I LOVE for my 1911. (If anyone can help me figure out who made this thing I'd appreciate it-Bought it at a Pawn Shop)

My Advice would be Buy Quality, Buy Custom. One Size Fits None Holsters are not good enough for you.
