I certainly don't think that there is anything revolutionary going on here but just for the sake of conversation. Do you think DB will get any real respect from the Glock/xd/mp crowds? Anyone handled one yet?

I think its an april fools joke, but diamondback makes a knock off of the LCP, I hear they arent that great, but a lot folks seem to like them.

Guess I am wrong, looks legit, still, I think there is a lot of bad press surrounding them, at least on the interwebs.

DB started by making some compact .380's and 9mm's. Taurus bought them. Now they have a full size 9mm double stack.
They just announced it a few days ago. Pretty standard polymer, striker fired gun with a fairly low bore axis.
Full retail is sub-$500, so if the Academy price is near $400 and mags are reasonable, it might be a good thing for rough work and play.
It looks similar to the Strike One pistol at a much lower price.

The db380 was horrible I sent mine back 3 times still didn't function properly failure to feed,failure to eject, slide would lock back even though it didn't have a slide lock. It was my biggest firearm purchase regret ever.
