What We Do

Learn & understand the concepts of precision rifle skills: LR Marksmanship, Range Estimation using Mil-Relation, MOA reticle or BDC reticle, Internal, External & Terminal Ballistics, realistic firing positions, Effects of weather & Observer training during LRPR I. LRPR II has arrived for 2012 ! View the pages for details. Dan Weimer, Ben Sons & Ron White, Jr have teamed up to facilitate these unique opportunities in Northwest Arkansas. Whether you are a competitor, serious hunter, Military/ Law Enforcement or a recreational shooter wanting to learn LR techniques, this Class is for you. We combine all of our experiences to teach these proven essentials to any level of a "coachable" individual. It is very satisfying to range a target, determine the effects of weather and place an accurate shot on target !

LRPR I :
FRIDAY: INTRO 0800-UTC
- Classroom / Zero
- Internal, External & Terminal Ballistics
- Fundamentals of Long Range Marksmanship
- Range Estimation using Mil-MOA Relation Formula
- Equipment Preparation
SATURDAY: DATA Gathering & Fundamentals
- Known Distance Range 100 - 800 yards
- Data gathering / Range Estimation Practicals
SUNDAY: Put it all together
- Cold Bore
- Unknown Distance Ops. 100- 800 Yards
- Various locations, using all concepts previously learned.
- Be prepared for long days. This is designed in a layered effect of learning and application. You will be surprised in your abilities after the course if you apply yourself during this course.

I love the reference to a "coachable" individual. Its amazing how many folks sign up for training,and all of a sudden know it all.

If it wasn't a 4 hour drive for me, I'd love to take the course.
 
4hours is a drive! I drive 2 hours to get there, then camp out until Sunday. It sure beats driving home every night.
We've had some that have flown in, then grabbed a room in town. And a handful that have joined us at the camp site, we windup talking guns all night...

MSgt JR White (Ret.) expert marksman(with device) former senior instructor/NCOIC (program manager) @ USAF sniper school, 20+yrs military experience, sniper team leader in Iraq, marksmanship team, state-regional-national competitions,many sniper and LR/high power comps under his belt.

Dan, former law enforcement designated marksman, high power shooter, civilian sniper competition experience, a great source for knowledge on all things reloading/ballistics

Myself, currently enlisted 188SFS, expert marksman ribbon (with device) USAF combat arms training instructor, advanced designated marksman, sniper, marksmanship team, state-regional-national competitions, and addicted to anything that goes bang.
