Just wanted to recognize one of our sponsors and give them a pat on the back, here's the story.
I purchased a used Gemtech Raptor40 suppressor that I've been trying to disassemble in order to swap the piston. I've been unsuccessful in removing the endcap and contacted the manufacturer about having them service it. Well Gemtech quoted 7 weeks minimum turnaround to service the can - WTF!
Enter D&R Gunsmithing. I'd done business with Rich before during his bolt jeweling promo so I figured why not check with him on this problem. After a quick phone call I was on my way to their shop to let Rich check it out.
Rich pulled out a few things out of his bag of tricks and with muscle supplied by both of us we managed to unscrew the endcap! I can't thank them enough for the effort expended today to help me. This kept me from having to ship a NFA item back to the factory and be without my toy for 2 months.
So keep D&R in mind you won't be disappointed when it comes to good old fashioned service! Remember to support the forum sponsors when you can.
