My cousin is a Tool and Die Machinist. He built me, and several other people a custom hitch plug for christmas a couple of years ago.
My truck is in the shop today, so I can't get a pic until, this evening, but its real similar to the link you showed. I don't know if he would be interested in making more. I'd sure ask him though.

That's cool, but I'd want one that's cut through so it could light up.
Have you thought about just a plain light & get a decal cut to put over or inside the lens?

I know of a place that has a lazer cutter that MIGHT be able to do one for you just don't know what the cost would be! I worked for them awhile and we would cut out all sorts of cool stuff, sometimes we could just scan the image and copy it on the lazer. If you want to know shoot me a PM, good bunch of folks. Later,

The laser thing would be awesome. They can do so much with them on a CNC now.

If it's not to much trouble I'd like to know if someone can cut one out. I winder if Franson's engraving deal could just make a pattern in a piece of aluminum then I could get it welded to a piece of square tubing.

The place is called Flanco Gasket, yeah I know it's a gasket place but they have a water jet and CNC lazer. I couldn't have an idea on price but it might be worth a look? Later,
