I've been working on my reloads - Got a suggestion from TroyF to get my pistol higher and been working on that.
Any other suggestions?

Phil said something about no painting the inside of your magwell in Production class. But the biggest concern is "What no backwards hat?"
Dang - I was hoping for some critique from you Chris....
Everybody is bringing up good points. You are moving your body alot, and definately need to index the mag in your hand a bit better. Get the gun higher like Troy was saying and "look" the magazine into the magwell.
Optimum position for your gun is going to be different for everyone based on body type, arm length etc. But universally everyone should laser focused to a spot inside the magwell to get the magazine where you need it to be. I trained my reloads like this...
1. Practice getting perfect grabs on you magazine with it indexed in the way everyone is describing.
2. Once you have that dialed, close your eyes and move the magazine up at about medium speed with no gun.
3. Open your eyes and see the path that the magazine is on when you arent worried about hitting the gun, just moving where your arm naturally wants to, that is where you are going to immediately be most comfortable, and be able to repeatably get the magazine to right off the bat. It is like free muscle memory. (This helped me alot)
4. Work on positioning the gun to that point once you drop the magazine (high enough in the next magazines path that you get a good look into the magwell). For me I bring the gun in a little, keeping it high, then push back out to the target while regripping the gun when the mag is in.
5. This is probably most important. Think Fast, Slow, Fast. Get your hand to the mag and get it headed towards the gun as quickly as possible. As you start to reach the magwell SLOW DOWN and insure that you have perfect insertion. Then hit the gas again and slam it home and push the gun back out to the target.
6. Do all of this stuff slow at first, until everything is PERFECT. Then ramp up the speed and practice 2-3 million times.
Here is some video of me doing some shot to shot reloads with Cyrwus from this winter...
