Cowboy Action Match in Summerville on Saturday 2/28

I'll be in the Charleston area this weekend and am planning to shoot the Geechee Gunfighters cowboy match on Saturday. Another PSF member is meeting me there to observe.

Anyone else who would like to join us would be welcome.

There was a good turnout today despite the weather. There was a little wind and times when the sun hid but we made it through. It is hard to load your shotgun quickly when your hands are cold.

This was my second time shooting in Summerville. They make everyone welcome.

Wish I could have come to watch. This was a very busy weekend. Too many things not enough time. Thanks for keeping us up to date on the SASS events, Crunchy.

Dave, the Geechee Gunfighters hold matches on the 4th Saturday of each month but on the 2nd Saturdays they hold an "Introduction to Cowboy Action Shooting" (aka practice session) as well. Stop by on one of those days as well.

I wish we could hold a regular "practice day" or clinic in our club but we cannot due to the way our range is configured. Spectators are welcome at matches but our ability to chat is limited by the need to keep the match going.

Yesterday the club was running a Steel Challenge match on other bays. We had lots of spectators coming down to check out the cowboy match.
