Cow pasture pool

This is my dilemma, my two hobbies are golf and guns. Both expensive and both take a time investment to become "good." I'm hoping to do a little 3gun'in here in the near future but don't really have the proper equipment. I doubt that I'll ever be able to drop golf. I'm down to a 3 handicap, played on the college team for a year....

I play as much as I can. I've even played a couple of course up in your neck of the woods. Between golf and shooting, it gets awfully expensive really quick!

I got some nice clubs a couple of years ago from a guy that upgraded. Didn't have a putter with the full set of woods and irons. I priced a putter this week.

HOLY CRAP!!!

I'll have to find a golf USA store somewhere on my travels. They usually have a rack of trade in putters that aren't so insanely priced.
I could buy a medium priced pistol for what they want for a putter.

golf galaxy usually has some good used putters, that's where I got my last one.

What type of putter are you looking for? Like ocphy said, Golf Galaxy normally has a good selection of used clubs. However, its hard to beat Golf USA's Tent sale they have each year. I've found a lot of good deals at that sale!

Well, living in the sticks like I do, I see these golf shops in different cities, and stop in. They usually have a little indoor green where a person can try out the putters.

Easy way to kill an hour or so when away from home.

Whats in OKC or Tulsa?

I'm not really good enough to know "what" kind of putter I need. I just need something to hit the ball.

I did use my buddys putter that had some flexible stuff on the sweet spot. It was so sensitive that It was like a driver in my hands.

I just need a dammed piece of iron to hit the stupid ball.........starting to think like my dad  :D

In OKC I normally shop at Golf Galaxy and Golf USA but I normally find what I like and buy it online where I can find it cheaper. I recently got a good deal on Callaway Diablo Edge driver from Callaway Preowned. You might want to checkout the Odessey Putters on there. Be careful when looking for stuff on eBay...there are a lot of fakes on there.
