Controlled hunt results today

I drew archery at McAlester Army Ammunition Depot. Boggy creek area.
I love that hunt!

Always next year I guess. Been putting in for elk since the 70's, still haven't drawn that one or antelope. Still stacking up the preference points though.

I got blanked, but my son Parker drew a tag to the Salt Plains Youth Hunt, 2 deer with one antlered. Know they grow them big so hopefully we can do our part and I can help him come home with plenty of meat and some bone for the wall we can use to remember the effort.

I've drawn the salt plains hunt a dozen times over the years.
My advice is to pay close attention to what the park rangers tell you. They drive those roads several times a day.
