What revolver do you carry concealed. I am looking to get a new one, checking prices and just wanted to see what others like. Have a S&W 642, 38+P now. Really like it, but my wife has claimed. Looking hard at the Tarus 605, & Rutger SP101 in .357 Magnum.

Just wanted so see what others thought. I love the wheel guns....

Taurus 851 (shrouded hammer, .38 +P)

I picked it up as an understudy to a S&W, but quickly fell for it. The steel frame makes the +P rounds effortless, and for whatever reason, I can shoot it well.

It's funny in a way. . .I bought it as a cheap snubbie trainer, and it became my "go to" gun with a pocket holster.

the SP101 gets my vote. It was what I carried for awhile. One fine revolver. Got certified with it and it felt fine on the 4 o'clock hip. Now, though, it serves as a second to my LC9.

lcr357 is my favorite. used to carry a 640, also a great choice. I dont now how bad you can go with a smith or ruger snubbie.

I also like my Taurus Snubbie. This is my Taurus 650 chambered in .357 magnum. Purchased for under $300 I think that it is hard to beat!

For those that are interested, Ruger now offers a compact grip for the LCR. It is a Hogue product that seems only available through Ruger.com

I picked one up and installed it on my LCR and am pretty happy with it. I have not carried it, but the "tamer" grip that the gun came with seemed to big and tacky to work well with front pocket carry. If/when I get a proper fitting pocket holster, I might try it out.
