Well-Known Fanatic
I've got an Adams Arms HBAR Profile (Fluted) Match barrel with a mid-length gas system and a 1-7" twist with a 5.56 chamber up for sale. The barrel is threaded with 1/2-28 (Standard AR Thread). Barrel extension HAS M4 Feed Ramps. This was on my long range precision gun for team matches but I changed to Berger 80.5gr bullets and I thought it best to up to a 20" barrel for the extra speed.
The barrel was never run for long strings of fire, it was broken in with care and has been very accurate. My Hornady 75gr load shoot 0.77 MOA and my Berger 80.5gr loads shoot 0.4 MOA. There has been LESS than 500 rounds though this barrel. Even though it's an Adams Arms barrel it's NOT designed for a pistol system, it has a normal gas port. I called to check before i bought these. This is the second one I bought. The first is still on my 3-Gun rifle and runs great.
Here's the catch... I thought I would own this for years to come. When I installed the Syrac gas block I used a little Rocksett on the bottom of the gas block. It is now on there for life as far as I'm concerned. You might be able to put the barrel in a vise and twist the gas block off if you really wanted to, but I wasn't going to start tweaking on my upper to try to get it off and I don't want to put the barrel in a vise. So here's what I have for sale...
