I've got a Sterling parts kit. Compared to the sten, it's really well made :roll: From weaponeer, looks like the conversion to semi is much easier. Basically switch it to striker-fired with a striker similar to an M1 Carbine's, and remove some stuff from the trigger pack and weld up the holes. Still waiting on my letter from the BATFE for specifics.
I'll be going the pistol route, with the stock welded in the folded position, so I can use the normal length barrel. The weight of the thing I've got in hand should be enough that firing offhand doesn't create unreasonable recoil.
