CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE

OK all you Shooters, I'm going to conduct a Toy drive this year.

If any of you want to donate, please bring an unwrapped (new in package) toy to me at one of the local matches. I shoot a lot of them in the Okla. area so there's a good chance you'll see me at one.

I'll set up a Tulsa area contact (maybe Bryan Corry or Jeff Hughes or both) to drop toys off with as well.

I'll be contacting Toys for Tots in the morning & finding out when I need to bring them the donations.
I'll update you guys as soon as possible with a deadline but Christmas is right around the corner.

The shooting community is an awesome group & I know we can make a difference.

I'm guessing that's up to you :good:

I'll be delivering ALL children's toys donated but I can't guarantee that ANY charitable organization will deliver toy guns in todays political climate.

Please, let's not make this about politics & keep it focused on children receiving toys for Christmas.
I'd hate to see a kid go without because of some BS toy gun policy or a defiant attitude because of it.

Jeff Hughes has agreed to collect the toy donations for me in the Tulsa area.

He's at most USSA matches & is pretty easy to connect with for a drop off.

I contacted Toys for Tot's today & the deadline for donations is 12/13/13.
They'll be distributing the toys to the kids on the 14th & 15th.

not sure the OKCGC match will be on with the pending inclement weather.
If it is, I'll be there. Otherwise, the next match would be H&H.

alright guys/gals, it seems as though the weather has pretty much shut down all the matches between now & the delivery deadline.
If you have toys you were planning on bringing to a match, you can mail them to me or just take them to a toys for tots drop center.
