My family renewed my membership to ATP shooting range and gave me a nice gift card to use there..........Tomorrow or Tuesday I am taking my 22 cal. military clones and do a little shooting.............I still have a few K of Federal and Winchester 36g HP HV, so I haven't been looking for more lately.....I hope the availability of more 22lr has not been badly affected................................I have been watching the weather for another trip to Boggy Head also.

22 cal ammo is not everywhere!!!........................ATP won't sell over a certain amount per customer and at near 10 cent a round...price gouging???..........My friend at a near by Walmart tells me that the same individuals stand at the gun counter every AM and buy ALL the 22 cal ammo that is put on the shelves....black market entrepreneurs???

I have a few K left and I am going to ration it per shooting session until I can find an online supply at acceptable pricing....I may get a few friends to go in with me to defray the costs..............................I am not going to buy any products from ATP or any other local gun shop and I am telling them that......When the panic buying subsides they will beg for customers after they have spent their ill gained profits.........................I will be shooting bullets from another source on their range....

I found some bulk .22lr today at Ammo Dump. They have 555 rounds for $55 and 333 for $45. It's more than I care to afford right now but if people are hurting for .22 it's an option.

Sure wish there was a way to reload rimfire.

I bought some 9mm and 22lr Win Wildcats there and won't ever go back!.....................................................Has anyone heard the "rumor" that employees of certain LGSs are being made aware of ammo stocking dates at certain big box stores and buying up ammo for inflated resale?

An employee at Dicks told me they were now limiting ammo to 3 boxes per customer and it is also rumored that Walmart may do the same..........Maybe the honest person may get a chance to buy some "cheaper" ammo.........................As prices drop and the availability improves, I will order several thousand rounds of 22 on line and never buy at LGSs again.

I don't know what they have on hand...but, have you checked with Eastcoast. I was there last week and they are not gouging their prices. I bought some .45's for $18.00 a box of 50. The cheapest ATP had was $36.00....They also had the spam cans of 7.62X54R for $99.00...

Enjay....You have to ration what you shoot each trip to the range....................I generally take 4 rifles and two pistols when I go shooting.....I will shoot each sparingly until I can build up my supply (4000 rounds of 22 left).....

It is not all local gun shops in the low country that are buying up ammo from other retailers. One large local shop has a very bad reputation for it though. I do not understand why anyone buys anything other than range time from them. I will not purchase from them at all.
