Looks like his net worth has taken a hit. Dunno, maybe not.

But I read an article years ago on him. I think he is the luckiest and slimyest guy on the planet. Right after he sold out to yahoo, he had a sizable holding in yahoo stock (might have been part of the deal, I don't remember). Now knowing that he just stuck it to yahoo royally on a hugenormous deal, and that they wayyyyy overpaid and their share price just got diluted all to elephant dung, and that it wouldn't be long before the world figures it out, what does he do? He starts shorting yahoo stock! He was asked how much money he made that year. He wouldn't answer that, but he did say that he had to pay $750,000,000 in federal income tax!

Cuban is a turd. But at least he made their day in that bar.

To put that in perspective, his $120,000 bar tab was like the average american spending $7.

He did get pretty lucky, but luck wasn't everything. The guy busts his ass.

He was paid all in stock actually - from the sale of Broadcast.com - I think it was in the neighborhood of like 6 billion in yahoo stock
