CCW in Disney World, Florida

I would say no way Disney will allow it. Drop a revolver on Space Mountain and all Hell is gonna break loose.

I was there in November. I believe it comes down to personal responsibility.
Do not's if you carry:
* Go on any ride that spins fast
* Go on a roller coaster
* Get totally wet (this would probably get you kicked out if you print)
* Be a butt head if someone bumps into you. It's going to happen

Do's:
* Have fun with
* Make sure your holster is comfortable and will hold your gun with the kids jumping on you
* Be respectful if asked to leave. Ask if you can just check it in the car and come back in. Remember you don't own the park

You don't walk through a metal detector. But they do check bags.

I would assume that Disney would be posted. If so, and the signage is done properly, could you not be arrested for it, if discovered?

Heard stories (first hand) from LEO friends who went and were totally ticked off that they were not allowed into the park if carrying. I wouldn't count on being able to do so.

But watch your back nonetheless-sounds like things are getting out of hand at fantasyland. Families are trying to sue the park 'cause Donald Duck wouldn't play with their child. Total anarchy is just a tea-cup spin away!

Negative. Signage in Florida has no legal standing, unlike here in SC. You are safe to ignore any and all "No Carry" signs in Florida. You have to be asked to leave / not carry by someone in legal control of the property or place of business.

The problem with carrying at Disney is that, if you do get caught, they will sometimes give you a VERY hard time. Disney essentially has it's own police. They essentially own the county in which the operate. I was a resident of Florida for 28 years before I moved up here last year, and I have heard some bad stories about people getting caught carrying at a Disney park. Of course, that wouldnt stop me from carrying there. Concealed is concealed, right?

Just make sure that if you are caught, you make absolutely no fuss about it.

Carried my Taurus .380 in a pocket holster wearing cargo shorts in Epcot, & in an ankle holster wearing jeans in Magic Kingdom. Did not see any obvious "No CCW" type signs posted. As far as bag checks go, the gate personnel at Sea World were much more dilligent about it than the Disney parks. One of the reasons of course, being to avoid anything like disposable drink straws & lids that are a hazard to the animals. To add, I also carried an extra magazine & a small lock blade knife with no issues.
