Okay guys, since I don't know everything, I have to ask. Would the carry handle and rear sights off of a carbine be any different than on a rifle? My plan is to use the one off my Stag carbine on dad's rifle build.

Thanks. Didn't think so, just need confirmation. Gotta remember, Charlie is 78, and don't need no stinkin scope. Lol!

Just make sure that, when zeroing the rifle, the elevation drum is turned to the 'Z' position. When you're zeroing a carbine, you can leave the drum at the 6/3 setting. Also, the elevation adjustments of the 6/3 carry handle vs the 8/3 on the A2 models are a different increment. The 8/3 is a 1MOA adjustment per turn, while the 6/3 drum gives a 0.5 MOA adjustment.
