Don't have the time for a full Appleseed weekend right now? Come hear the most important part of what we do - for free!
Paul Revere?s Ride and the First Day
of the American Revolution
Kershaw County Library, Camden location
1304 Broad Street
Wednesday, April 10th 6:30pm
Hear the story of the most important day in American history...
April 19th, 1775, the first day of the American Revolutionary War.
We?ll be talking about the events and the people whose decisions
and actions shaped and still define us as a nation 238 years later.
We will be answering the following questions:
1. When and where was the American Revolution fought and won?
2. When and where did the Revolutionary War actually start?
3. What caused the professional British Army to break and run after a
two minute encounter with colonial farmers and shopkeepers?
4. Who fired the first shots of the Revolutionary War?
5. What's the difference between history and heritage?
Join us at the Camden Public Library April 10th and we'll
Go back in time to when 'Give me liberty or give me death' was
more than just a saying. We look forward to seeing you there!
