calico magazine or ammo problem

my calico m 100 p will jam on some ammo but works fine with chi mini mags now its automatically releasing the spring tension from the mag any ideas what might be going on or any gunsmiths familiar with calico weapons ?

They can be picky about ammo, but the magazine should definitely NOT be releasing tension by itself.

You might try D&R over in Goose Creek. He's had our M-100 magazine apart and worked on it a bit.
